Ceramics update

I've spent quite a lot of my free time this summer working on some things in the ceramics studio. This is my first time throwing pottery on the wheel in 11 years, and my first time back in the studio since 2004. I'm still perfecting my skills, so not everything comes out exactly as I want, but I have been rapidly improving. Here's a peek at some of the more successful items so far:

Mug pair

Turquoise bowl

Deep blue rice bowl

Turquoise & white bowl

Tor's blue bowl

Handcarved pot

Chevron jar

Islamic star cereal bowls

Floral crest cereal bowls

Mug set

Surf blue large bowl

Deep blue large bowl

Wow--that's a lot of successes! I love the black bowls with the white pattern. They remind me of snowflakes.
All this great pottery has me excited for the next Empty Bowls pottery sale our local community college hosts every fall!

Oh my goodness, they're stunning! The shapes are lovely and I am IN LOVE with the glaze on all of them. I hope you're using or displaying every piece...people need to see them!
